Seismic Dance Event 5.0
This annual indoor/outdoor event is categorized as a “boutique festival”, bringing the sounds of house, techno, and underground music to Austin, Texas. The event takes place over the course of 3 days on 15 acres of land owned by The Concourse Project. The event features 50+ artists, art installations, and food trucks.
TOOLS USED: iPad, Procreate, Photoshop, Screen Printing equipment.

There are 3 main stages; Volcano, Tsunami, and Frequency stage. Each day there are 3 new headliners assigned to each stage, preceded by smaller shows.
To create 3 posters I need to select 3 headliners from ONE of the festival days. I am a fan of Fatboy Slim and familiar with his music style so I decided to go with Saturday’s headliners for my poster series:

Screen Printing Process
The screen printing process was challenging, I had never executed a poster with more than 2 colors. It took me a few hours and errors to figure out how to lay out the layers in my Procreate/Photoshop file and to burn all three screens.
